The kids are alright!
I got a lovely job of recording the Summer School Activities of the Bede Academy at Blyth this Summer.
The remit was to record all of the activities that are going on over the Summer and get some comments from the students on the activities that were happening. Which meant travelling to, and taking part in, all of the activities that the new students were getting involved in, including making art, going skiing, visiting Lindisfarne, learning about Blyth Docks, visiting at tall ship, and much more.
Needless to say, this was a really excellent job but I also got to see the teachers really do some great work and interact with the new year sevens as they got to grips with the big school life. Well done Bede Academy on an excellent and fun packed summer school!
