Traits - Volume Two

‘Traits is a personal project that focuses on my friends and colleagues that dedicate a big chunk of their lives to working on their creative passion, whatever that might be.

Sean Reynolds has been a friend for years, although somewhat distant for a number of those when residing in Edinburgh. Recently re-located back locally I managed to get a free lunch whilst photographing his passion.

Cooking has been something Sean has loved for years and a job/hobby/necessity for many of those. My chosen print is the last of the session after getting Sean to flip a very sharp knife back onto himself over fifteen times (whilst demanding he look uncaring and holding his hand in a relaxed way) it worked! But there were a few of those attempts that could have easily been bloody - thanks Sean!
