‘Traits is a personal project that focuses on my friends and colleagues that dedicate a big chunk of their lives to working on their creative passion, whatever that might be.

Ian has been drumming almost as long as I have known him - keeping time with a beat is where he feels most at home creatively .

I wanted to photograph Ben in his “Drumming Shed” which is his soundproof cave of all things percussive - armed with a hefty set of ear protectors I took some exciting pics of Ian letting rip, and once the heat got a little too much - we calmed down for some in-between portraits too.
